Kearney Named GLIAC Swimming & Diving Athlete of Week

BAY CITY, Mich. – Molly Kearney, of the Northern Michigan University swimming and diving team, is the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving “Athlete of the Week.”
The sophomore from Sacramento, Calif., won both diving events at the Border War Invite from UW-Stevens Point over the weekend. On Friday, Kearney qualified for the NCAA Championship, scoring 393.5 in the one-meter. She won the three-meter with 400.8 points on Saturday. Kearney has won all diving events so far this season.
NMU travels to Grand Rapids, Mich. for the Calvin College Invite at the end of the month.
