MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University Blue Line Club will host its first luncheon in two years on Friday, Oct. 26 for the first home series against Notre Dame. The luncheon starts at Noon in the Wildcat Room inside the Berry Events Center.
There will be four Blue Line Club Luncheons throughout the hockey season. The other luncheons will be held before the Michigan series on Nov. 2, the Ohio State series on Jan. 18 and the Lake Superior State Series on March 1.
The luncheons will be held in the Wildcat Room and are open to the public, costing $12.50 per Wildcat fan. Coach Walt Kyle and the opposing coach will be the featured speakers. Select players will also make appearances.
The Blue Line Club was established in 1982 to support the intercollegiate ice hockey program at NMU ensuring that it is competitive with, or superior to, other comparable ice hockey programs in the United States. Members’ donations assist the program with scholarships, recruiting and equipment.
