MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan football coaches will be hosting a first-ever Football 101 for Women clinic at the Superior Dome on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 p.m.

The free event is open to female students and members of the community.

“We’re looking to reach out to the female campus and community members who may be interested in the game but don’t know much about it,” head coach Bernie Anderson said.

Participants will learn the x’s and o’s of the game as well as attend a game film session.

Participants will also have the opportunity to tour the football facilities as well as participate in a walk-thru session.

“Hopefully we can get some of the participants interested in the sport and want to attend an NMU football game,” Anderson said.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
