Wildcats Selected Fourth in GLIAC North

BAY CITY, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announces the 2011 GLIAC Football Preseason Coaches’ Poll on its 2011 Football Media Day Central website.

Northern Michigan University was selected fourth in the GLIAC North Division with 43 points. Grand Valley was picked first in the North with 85 points. Michigan Tech was second with 67 points and Saginaw Valley State was third with one point more than NMU. Northwood was fifth (38), Ferris State was sixth (37) and Indianapolis (29) was seventh in its final year in the GLIAC.

Wayne State was picked at the top in the South Division with 80 points. Ashland (73) was second and Hillsdale (66), third. Ohio Dominican (38) was fourth while Findlay and Lake Erie were tied for fifth with 36 points. Tiffin (13) rounded out the South at seventh place.
