LA CROSSE, Wis. – Northern Michigan University had a few outdoor track and field athletes try to qualify for Nationals for their final time of the season at the UW-La Crosse Eagle Open on Friday (May 13).

Jaime Roberts had a provisional qualifying jump and set a new school record as she won the pole vault, clearing 12-3.5. Bailey Franklin won the high jump and came in second in the triple jump. Her high jump mark of 5-5.75 set a new school record. Samara White finished fifth in the long jump (16-10.75) and Mariah Beamen placed third in the javelin (114-11).
