Football Spring Game Offers Fun for Youth

MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University football team plays its annual Spring Game in the Superior Dome on Saturday (April 16). It will be a game and not a scrimmage like it has been in years past.

NMU will hold Warm-Up with the Wildcats before the game. Kids ages 6-13 are invited to meet the team outside the football locker room and go through the game day warm-up with the team at noon. Participants should bring a pair of athletic shorts and shoes to wear on the field.

ACA Jumps, INC. will have inflatable games in the east end zone for kids to enjoy from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be a 40-foot obstacle course, first down game, soccer fever game and a first-n-goal game.

The Wildcats will also host a post-game autograph session immediately after the game. Bring your favorite NMU apparel to be signed. Programs will also be handed out to the first 100 kids.
