
MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women’s soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the fifth year in a row.
The Wildcats were one of 444 women’s teams nationally, for all divisions, to receive the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2009-10 academic year. Matt Granstrand’s squad had a 3.19 grade point average.
To be eligible for the award a team must post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2009-10 academic year.
