MARQUETTE, Mich. – The NMU volleyball (17-1, 11-0 GLIAC) team dropped a couple spots to No. 15 in this week’s AVCA Coaches Top 25 Poll, receiving 366 points.

NMU is also ranked second in the Midwest Region in the NCAA’s Regional Rankings that were released Wednesday (Oct. 20).

The Wildcats play their final regular season home matches this weekend when they welcome Ferris State (Friday), Saginaw Valley (Saturday) and Grand Valley (Sunday).

Last weekend NMU went 2-1 at the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament. The ‘Cats won twice on Friday; defeating Rockhurst (3-1) in the afternoon and Missouri-St. Louis (3-1) in the evening. Indianapolis handed the Wildcats their first loss of the season on Saturday, winning 3-0.
