MARQUETTE, Mich. – The NMU (6-3-5, 6-3-3 GLIAC) soccer team finishes off its four game road trip and plays its final regular season games on the road at Saginaw Valley on Friday (Oct. 22) and Northwood Sunday (Oct. 24).

Last weekend the ‘Cats lost at Grand Valley (2-0) and tied at Ferris State (1-1). Amelia Johnson scored her seventh goal and the lone goal on the weekend with the assist going to Brekelle Sellers.

Saginaw Valley (8-5-1, 7-4-1 GLIAC) has won two in a row and four of its last six. The Cardinals outshot opponents 38-11 last weekend in their two wins over Lake Erie and Ashland. Kayla Johnston leads the team with five goals. Game time Friday is set for 4 p.m. from University Center, Michigan.

Northwood (5-9, 3-9 GLIAC) also defeated Lake Erie and Ashland last weekend. The Timberwolves have won two in a row and four of their last six. Amanda Watson leads the GLIAC in points with 26 on 11 goals and four assists. Game time from Midland, Michigan is set for noon on Sunday.
