MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Cat Attack Zone was in full force at tonight’s volleyball match vs. Northwood. The Attack Zone was loud and cheered the team to a 3-0 victory. The NMU women’s volleyball team came up with the Cat Attack Zone to get new fans to Vandament Arena and get them excited for Wildcat volleyball by adding to the atmosphere.
"The Cat Attack fans came out and gave us a lot of energy and put a lot of pressure on Northwood. That’s what they’re for. They were just outstanding!" Head Coach Dominic Yoder said after the game.
You can become a member of the Cat Attack Zone by purchasing a t-shirt and sitting in the Attack Zone seating section. The Attack Zone is open to all fans. Shirts are $5 and can be purchased at home volleyball games or from assistant coach Kim Falkenhagen. Pizza is served to all members after the game.
