Volleyball 'Cats Crack Top 25
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Northern Michigan University volleyball team has cracked the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll. NMU after picking up votes last week is currently ranked 21st with 173 points.
The Wildcats are currently 7-0 overall for the 2010 season. Last weekend the squad swept Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foes Ferris State, Saginaw Valley State and Grand Valley State to begin conference play.
This weekend the ‘Cats host Lake Erie College Friday (Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.) and Ashland Saturday (Sept. 18 at 2 p.m.).
