Carter Kopach

BAY CITY, Mich. – Northern Michigan University quarterback Carter Kopach has been named this week’s Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Offensive Payer of the Week.  The junior signal caller from Bolingbrook, Ill. led the Wildcats to a 49-10 GLIAC-opening victory over Findlay.

 Kopach connected on 17-of-24 passes for 269 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for 44 yards and another score in the game.  He recorded 313 yards of total offense for the afternoon while accounting for six touchdowns.  He currently ranks second among GLIAC quarterbacks in pass efficiency after completing 34-of-58 passes and six touchdowns after two games. 

So far this season, Kopach has thrown for 437 yards (34-58-2) and rushed for 64 yards on 19 carries.
