STEAMBOATSPRINGS, Colo. – The Northern Michigan University men’s Nordic ski team wrapped up the 2010 NCAA Skiing Championships with the 20K freestyle race Saturday. The Wildcats had three skiers in the event. As a team the ’Cats finished in 14th place with 166 points as Denver won the event with 785.5 points.
Freshman, George Cartwright was the top placing ‘Cat as he skated the course with a time of 51:43.4 for 30th.   Four places back (34) was Chris Bowler with a time of 52:18.1. The final ‘Cat to skate across the finish line was Kevin Cutts in 38th (54:19.5).
