Kevin Cutts Leads Widlcats In Classic

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Kevin Cutts led the Northern Michigan University men’s Nordic skiers Thursday in the 10K classic race. It was the second day of the NCAA Skiing Championships, but the first day of competition for the Nordic skiers. Currently the Wildcats sit in 12th place with 88.0 points. Leading the event after two days of skiing is the University of Denver with 420.0 points. Team scores are a combined men and women (alpine and Nordic).
Cutts with a time of 31:01.1 placed 26th in the event. Next for the ‘Cats were George Cartwright (31:16.1) and Chris Bowler (31:24.2) in 28th and 30th respectively.
The skiers will compete next in the 20K freestyle race Saturday (March 13).
