MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women’s basketball team will play the second semifinal game of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women’s Basketball Championship Friday, March 5. NMU (20-8) will face the University of Findlay (21-7) at approximately 8 p.m. Michigan Tech (26-2) and Lake Superior State (15-12) tangle in the first game of the evening at 6 p.m. The championships game will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 6. Michigan Tech is the host of the championship tournament as all games will be played at the Student Development Complex Gymnasium.
Tickets for the semifinals and the championship game are available for $9 reserved, $7 general admission, $5 children (18 and under) and $2 for college students.

Findlay took both games from the Wildcats during the regular season. The Oilers defeated the ‘Cats in Marquette the middle of January in overtime (83-80) and then took the rematch in Findlay a couple of weeks ago (55-44).
