Mariah Dunham Named GLIAC North Division Player Of The Week

BAY CITY, Mich. – Mariah Dunham was named this week’s Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division Player of the Week. The newcomer to the Northern Michigan University roster led the Wildcats against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers with a game-high 33 points. She also had seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks against the Rangers. Earlier in the week the senior from Watertown, Wis. had six points, eight rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals against the University of Minnesota-Duluth. 

She is the lone ‘Cat on the roster averaging 10 or more points a game as she checks in with 16.3 ppg. Dunham also leads NMU off the boards with 7.3 rpg and has a team-high five blocks. From the field, Dunham is 20-40 (50 percent).
