Kenosha, Wis. – The Northern Michigan University women’s cross country team competed at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships today to conclude its season. NMU garnered 343 points to finish in 13th place. Grand Valley State was the top team at the event with 26 points with Southern Indiana second (76).
Olivia Juntila was the first Wildcat to cross the finish line as she covered the course in a time of 23:52 to finish 36th overall. Jenny Wiedmeyer was next for NMU in 62nd with a time of 24:23. Bibiane Mahy was 75th (24:40) as she was followed by Rita Woitas (24:53, 84th) and Kristen Schulz (25:08, 86th). Two other runners ran, but did not score any team points as they were Sarah Allen 99th (25:35) and Nora Kiilunen 104th (25:47).
