MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women’s soccer team dropped its home regular season finale Sunday with a 1-0 setback to the Tiffin University Dragons. NMU falls to 8-8-1 overall on the season and 6-6-1 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play. Tiffin improves to 7-5-2 and 7-4-2 respectively. 
The lone goal of the game was scored at 34:29 off of a corner kick by Shelly Rogers to Stephanie Bowman. NMU did manage seven shots for the game with five being on-goal. Tiffin recorded 13 shots with 10 on-goal. Corner kicks were in favor of the visiting team at 4-1. Kara Music had nine saves for the game.
NMU will conclude regular season play at Ashland Saturday (Oct. 31) at noon.
