MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports along with Fox Hills Resort are hosting a golf fundraiser July 19-20. Fox Hills Resort is located in Mishicot, Wis. which is just south of Green Bay. The resort is one of Northeast Wisconsin’s largest golf facilities, offers 45 holes of golf, 336 appointed lodging rooms, two driving ranges and two putting practice greens.
The event offers NMU alumni, friends and Wildcat supporters the opportunity for an enjoyable weekend of golf featuring special lodging rates, a fun-filled Sunday evening of activities and entertainment with the golf outing on Monday. NMU President Les Wong along with NMU coaches are expected to attend.
The schedule of events for Sunday evening includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and live entertainment. For Monday, the golf events include breakfast, a 10 a.m. shotgun start (18 holes of golf with shared cart on the National Course), a lunch buffet on the turn and a hors d’oeuvres reception with awards.
Enjoy all weekend activities with the all inclusive option for $120 per person. The Sunday only option is available for $35 per person. If you would just like to golf, then the Monday only option is available for $125 per person. Hotel rooms are available for $59 per night (based on double occupancy) at Fox Hills Resort.
Anyone interested in golfing the National Course early on Sunday can do so for a special price of $32 per person with a shared cart for 18 holes.
Many great sponsorship opportunities are available ranging from a $125 hole sponsorship to the $1,000 ace sponsor which offers the sponsor two-foursomes in the outing, a hole sponsorship and your company name on the event registration banner. Silent auction items, golfer goodie bag and raffle prize donations would be greatly appreciated. Over 4,000 NMU alumni reside in Wisconsin and this event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your business through a sponsorship or prize donation.
