Erik Gustafsson One Of Five Sophomores Selected To CCHA First Team

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Erik Gustafsson was the lone member of the Northern Michigan University hockey team selected to the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) All-Conference Team. He was one of five sophomores selected to the first team. Others selected to the first team were Carter Camper (So, F, Miami), Aaron Palushaj (So, F, Michigan), Louie Caporusso (So, F, Michigan), Ian Cole (So, D, Notre Dame) and Chad Johnson (Sr, G, Alaska).
The teams were selected by a vote of the league’s head coaches and are based on performance in conference games. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players. Gustafsson led CCHA defensemen in assists and points with 3-22-25.
Mark Olver (forward) and Brian Stewart (goaltender) both received votes in the balloting.
