Brian Stewart Named CCHA Goaltender Of The Week For Play Against Miami

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – By stopping 89-of-91 shots against Miami over the weekend, Brian Stewart has been named this week’s Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Goaltender of the Week. Stewart earned first star honors each night as he had 43 saves Friday night and 46 Saturday. NMU earned three points with a 2-1 victory and a 1-1 tie/shootout loss against the RedHawks.
Currently for the season, Stewart is 9-11-3 with 2.33 goals-against average and a .924 save-percentage.
