Erik Gustafsson Named CCHA Defenseman Of The Week For The Second Week In A Row

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – For the second week in a row, Erik Gustafsson has been honored by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). He was once honored as the CCHA Defenseman of the Week for his performance against the Western Michigan Broncos over the weekend. The sophomore from Kvissleby, Sweden assisted on half of the Wildcats’ 10 goals in the 6-5 and 4-3 road victories. Friday he had three assists then the next night he had two helpers and was a +1.
Gustafsson leads the team in assists with 19 and is tied with Mark Olver for the team lead in points (21).
