Weightlifters to compete in the Twin City Open
MARQUETTE – The United States Olympic Education Center weightlifting team will compete in the Twin City Open Oct.4-5 in North Field, Minn. It will be the first competition of the year for some weightlifters.
Athletes scheduled to compete are: Northern Michigan University freshmen Jessica Gallagher (Longwood, Fla.) at 58 kilograms, Sage Burgener (Bonsall, Calif.) ,63 kg and Caleb Ward (Wichita Falls, Texas),105-plus kg; senior Justin Brimhall (Miami, Fla.), 77 kg; and USOEC facility users Robin Fuerman and Vance Newgard.
