This Week In NMU Sports
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Four Northern Michigan University athletic teams are in action this weekend. The NMU women’s track and field squad will be competing at the Bulldog Invitational at Ferris State on Saturday, April 5 for its first outdoor competition of the season.
Also competing on Saturday is the ‘Cat volleyball squad at the Eastern Michigan Invitational. NMU will face Cleveland State at 10 a.m., Oakland at noon (12 p.m.), Toledo at 2 p.m. and Northwood at 4 p.m.
The NMU women’s soccer team is hosting a tournament in the Superior Dome on Saturday and Sunday (April 5-6). Action will be from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday.
Competing on Saturday and Sunday (April 5-6) is the NMU men’s golf team at the NCAA II Regional Tournament in Carrollton, Ky. The men’s golf team is opening the spring portion of its schedule at the event.
