Morgan Smyth and Maria Stuber also competed for the Wildcats. Smyth with a time of 1:00:44.8 was 16th and Stuber was 36th (1:05:44.0).

In the team standings after three days (includes alpine) at the NCAA Skiing Championships the Wildcats are in eighth place overall with 287 points. Colorado leads the competition with 483 points.

If the cross country skiing competition was scored separately then NMU would have finished in third place. The breakdown would have been 150 points for the women and 137 for the men.
