Brian Stewart Named CCHA Goaltender of the Week

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – For the second time this season, Brian Stewart has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Goaltender of the Week. He won the award in December for his play against Michigan Tech.
This week he was named the recipient of the award for his play against Michigan State. Stewart blocked 55-of-56 shots (.982), including 32 on Saturday for his second career shutout (first in CCHA play) as the Wildcats swept the Spartans, 3-1 and 3-0.
The sophomore from Burnaby, B.C. is currently 8-10-3 on the season with a 2.59 goals-against average and a .913 saves percentage.
