NMU Football Recruits - 25 To Join Team

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Bernie Anderson, the head football coach at Northern Michigan University, announces the following student-athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent or have committed to attend NMU and play football for the Wildcats. The ‘Cats have secured 25 commitments. Michigan leads the way with 16, followed by Wisconsin with four, Illinois with two, California, Indiana and Minnesota with one each.

“I’m very excited about the six U.P. players who have signed with us. All six are of the caliber we need to have success in this league,” said Anderson. “This is a strong class that meets the academic and athletic needs of our program. Our entire staff feels that this group will help us move up in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).”
