MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University hockey team (3-9-0, 2-8-0 CCHA) is the lone team at home this week. Friday night (Nov. 23) the Wildcats host the Lake Superior State University Lakers in the first game for the Cappo Cup.  The action moves over to Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. on Saturday night (Nov. 24). The puck will drop both nights at 7:35 p.m.
The men’s (0-1) and women’s basketball (0-2) teams are at the UM-Duluth Tournament on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 23-24). Troy Mattson’s team will get things started on Friday at 2 p.m. against St. Cloud and then will face UM-Duluth on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Dean Ellis’ squad will face MSU-Mankato on Friday at 4 p.m. and then will tip-off against the Bulldogs of UM-Duluth on Saturday at 9 p.m.
Next week (Dec. 1) the NMU cross country ski team will host the Wildcat Open.
