MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Led by Bibiane Mahy’s 17th-place finish with a time of 23:45 the Northern Michigan University women’s cross country team finished in 10th place at the Roy Griak Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. The Wildcats garnered 232 team points as Augustana won the Women’s Maroon Division II with 69 points.
Scoring points for the ‘cats on the day were – Michele Bisig 45th (24:23); Jenny Wiedmeyer 48th (24:27); Danielle Stein 50th (24:29); and Brittney Coehoorn 72nd (24:51). Also running, but not scoring team points were Erin Vanenkevort (25:03) and Maria Grossi (25:08).
NMU will host the Wildcat Open on Friday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m.
