Bibiane Mahy Takes LSSU Open
SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women’s cross country team opened up its 2007 schedule at the LSSU Open yesterday (Sept. 7). The Wildcats had six of the top 10 finishers.
Bibiane Mahy won the race with a clocking of 20:19.00. Laura DeWitt was fourth (20:49.00) as she was followed by Jenny Wiedmeyer fifth (20:52.00), Kristen Schultz seventh (21:21.00), Christina Gillis ninth (21:41.00) and Nicole Bougher 10th (21:43.00).
NMU will race again next at the Midwest Open on Saturday (Sept. 15).
