'Cats Ranked Fifth

MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University volleyball team has been ranked to finish fifth in the North Division of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The head volleyball coaches voted in the pre-season poll. For the second season in a row they chose Grand Valley State to win the league’s North Division and Hillsdale College to win the South Division.

In the CSTV/AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 preseason poll Hillsdale was 10th, GVSU was ranked 11th, and Ashland University, another GLIAC school, was 8th.
