Jon Wilson Steps Down

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Jon Wilson, who has guided the women’s swimming program at Northern Michigan University for the past four years, has resigned his position. A national search has begun to fill the vacancy.
The Wildcats highest finish under Wilson in the conference was his first year at the helm (2003-04) when the team placed second at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships. At this past season’s GLIAC meet the ‘Cats finished in eighth place. Before NMU, Wilson was the head men’s and women’s swimming coach at Ripon College for six years.
