NMU To Offer Football Camps
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Three football related camps will be held at Northern Michigan University over the summer. The camps will be conducted by members of the NMU football coaching staff and area high school coaches.
The Northern Michigan University Football Camp will be held July 8-10 in the Superior Dome and adjacent practice fields. Campers will be instructed in all phases of football. It is open to children in grades 8-12. The cost is $275 for resident campers, $150 for commuters a family discount is available. Contact Tom Wender at 906-396-0035 for more information. The NMU Youth Football Camp will be held July 10-12 from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Superior Dome and adjacent practice fields. The camp is a fundamental and skills camp. Camp is open to children in grades 3-8 and the cost is $50. The final camp of the summer will be the NMU Speed and Strength Camp from July 11-13. Sport skill improvement through speed and strength training will be highlighted. The Superior Dome and adjacent practice fields will be used. The camp is open to children in grades 7-12, will be from 9-11:30 a.m. and the cost is $75.
