MIDLAND, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women’s track and field team concluded its season at the 2007 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Over the course of the two-day meet the Wildcats collected 42 points which was good for a seventh-place finish. Grand Valley State won the women’s side of the championship with 249 points.
Results from Friday included, Danielle St. Onge sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.69. Stephanie Ostrenga (2:15.84) in the 800 was fourth. Brooke Rediger (4:48.24) placed fifth in the 1,500.
The 4x100 relay of Callie Boik, Vanessa Anderson, Natalie Bertucci and St. Onge ran a 50.16 which placed the tandem sixth. Maegan Hendershot, Heather Bassett, Bibiane Mahy and Ostrenga were members of the 4x400 relay as they ran a 4:06.60 which was good for sixth.
