Day One In the Books

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. The first day of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) 2007 Indoor Track and Field Championships is now in the books. The Northern Michigan University contingent is currently in seventh place with 6.50 points. Grand Valley State is leading the event with 44 points.
 
The distance medley relay of Bibiane Mahy, Maegan Hendershot, Erin VanEnkevort and Brooke Rediger placed fourth with a clocking of 12:28.41.
 
Danielle St. Onge tied for seventh in the long jump with a leap of 16-09.25.
 
The event will conclude tomorrow (Feb. 24) at Saginaw Valley State.
