Hockey to Host Lakers

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan University Hockey Wildcats (11-17-2, 8-13-1 CCHA) will play the Lake Superior State Lakers (15-11-1, 8-9-3 CCHA) in a home-and-home in Marquette, Mich. at the Berry Events Center (Feb. 2) and in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. at Taffy Abel Arena (Feb. 3). Face-off for Friday (Feb. 2) is slated for 7:35 p.m. while Saturday’s game is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
 
Tickets are still available for Friday night’s game and tickets can be purchased at all NMU EZ Ticket Outlets including their online store, http://www.nmu.edu/tickets/. The BEC ticket office opens at noon on game days. 
 
There will be a Blue Line Club Luncheon on Friday, Feb. 2, at noon at the NMU University Center. The luncheon is open to the public and those who attend will hear from NMU head coach Walt Kyle and current NMU players. 
 
The first 1000 attendees at Friday’s game will receive a free set of trading cards for the juniors on the 2006-07 NMU hockey team. Following the game the corresponding players will be in the Izzo-Mariucci room for autographs.
 
The annual NMU Hockey Silent Auction will take place during Friday’s game, featuring over 100 items that will be on display on the North Side of the arena and bidding will be held from 7:00 p.m. until the start of the 3rd period. Individual auction items can then be claimed in the Wildcat Room after the game with payment accepted in the form of cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard.

Pictures and art
Car detailing and maintenance
Packer weekend package
Wildcat apparel
Rounds of golf at regional courses

Charter fishing voucher

 
The 2006 Hockey Silent Auction raised over $10,000 for the hockey progam.
