Biographical ProfileDr. Kahn received her bachelor's and master's degrees in speech-language pathology. Her Ph.D. is in experimental (cognitive) psychology. Dr. Kahn came to Northern Michigan University in 1997 after serving on the faculty of the University of Vermont. Her interdisciplinary background in speech-language pathology and psychology allows for students to be introduced to theories and practice in normal linguistic and cognitive processes. Dr. Kahn has published her work in a variety of journals including Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, Brain and Language, and Developmental Neuropsychology. She is an avid winter sports enthusiast and enjoys cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, and snowshoeing. Education
