Social Work

The social work program will provide students with an understanding of the contexts of social work practice, the changing nature of those contexts, the behavior of organizations and the dynamics of change. Throughout the curriculum, students will be exposed to the values and ethics that guide professional social work practice. Through the curriculum, students will become aware of their responsibility to continue their professional growth and development.

For students outside of the program, social work courses will provide a knowledge base in social welfare and illustrate the importance of advancing the social work practice.
