Scope and Contents note
The collection partially document's Jones' academic career. The papers include selected course syllabi and notes. The most important component of the collection, however, is the excellent documentation of the McClellan controversy. Here, the collection contains memos, position papers and summaries. It appears that Jones was quite involved or intensely interested in the controversy.
