August 2012

• Fall Fest             

Monday, August 27 from 11 am - 3 pm in the Academic Mall

Meet many of Marquette's non-profit organizations that are looking for volunteers

• Wildcats Care Blood Drive

             Thursday, August 30 from 12 - 5:45 p.m. in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center. Do your part to save a life!

October 2012

• Bone Marrow Registration Drive

             Monday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lower Level of the LRC and 4 to 8 p.m. in the Payne/Halverson Lobby

• Make a Difference Day

             Saturday, October 27, free breakfast and t-shirt! Please register on the front page of our website.

• Halloween Blood Drive

             Tuesday, October 30 from 12 - 5:45 p.m. in the Payne/Halverson lobby. Please bring a photo ID, food is provided!

November 2012

• TV6 Can-a-thon

             Friday, November 12 -Thursday, December 6
             Look for collection boxes located in all campus buildings
             Can-a-Thon competition: two competitions, one for student organizations and one for residence hall houses. 1st place for both wins $100 for their organization or house and an       appearance on TV 6 with the staff of the Volunteer Center, 2nd place wins $50 for their organization or house. Collection dates: Tuesday, Dec. 4th (upcampus and student organizations- UC Atrium: 6pm-8pm) or Wednesday, Dec. 5th (downcampus- Payne/Halverson lobby: 6pm-8pm)
