2014 Upper Peninsula FIRST® LEGO® League Robotics Tournament:  "World Class Learning Unleashed" Challenge

On Saturday, November 8, 2014, the Seaborg Mathematics and Science Center hosted teams from the Central and Western Upper Peninsula to compete in the 2014 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Tournament.  During the morning, the teams will be judged on Core Values, Research, and Robot Design.  Spectators are not permitted to observe this portion of the tournament, but there is plenty to see in the afternoon.

Beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Marquette Senior High School (canopy entrance), teams will compete in the Robot Performance, considered by many as the Main Event.  You are cordially invited to this very exciting part of the tournament.

The FLL Awards Ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the "little theater" at MSHS to celebrate the teams' months of work in preparation for the tournament.  In addition to receiving plaques for judged categories, robot performance, and championship, invitation to the State Championship Tournament in Flint in December will be awarded.
