2014 Upper Peninsula FIRST® LEGO® League Robotics Tournament:  "World Class Learning Unleashed" Challenge

On Saturday, November 8, 2014, the Seaborg Mathematics and Science Center will host teams from the Central and Western Upper Peninsula to compete in the 2014 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Tournament.  During the morning, the teams will be judged on Core Values, Research, and Robot Design.  Spectators are not permitted to observe this portion of the tournament, but there is plenty to see in the afternoon.

Beginning at 12:20 (location TBA) on the campus of Northern Michigan University, teams will compete in the Robot Performance, considered by many as the Main Event.  You are cordially invited to this very exciting part of the tournament.

The FLL Awards Ceremony will begin at 4:00 (location TBA) to celebrate the teams' months of work in preparation for the tournament.  In addition to receiving plaques for judged categories, robot performance, and championship, invitation to the Flint Championship Tournament in December will be awarded.
