Women's Softball - General Information

The NMU Women's Club Fast Pitch Softball team started in fall of 2016. The team is a part of the National Club Softball Association (NCSA) under the Great Lakes West Conference; which also includes Michigan Tech, University of Wisconsin Madison, University of Wisconsin Whitewater, and Marquette University. Our season is split through the NCSA, meaning we typically play games in both the fall and the spring to solidify a complete season. We also have the opportunity each year through the NCSA to travel to Florida to participate in their spring training tournament which is during our spring break. It is extremely important to our team to engage in volunteering projects around campus as well as within the community. We strongly encourage each team member to hold a positive attitude on and off the field. We do recognize that we are student athletes, where student comes first.

Dues
$200 per player. This includes field time, umpires, travel, and annual dues to the NCSA. Subject to change if additional non-conference games are scheduled.
