Figure Skating - General Information

The Northern Michigan University Figure Skating Team is compiled of a group of young women who have invested a considerable amount of their lives in the sport of figure skating. Members take pride in what they do and are dedicated to the sport. The team prides themselves on providing an opportunity for collegiate skaters to improve their skill and take advantage of competition opportunities throughout the season. Through performances, appearances, and volunteer activities, the Northern Michigan University Figure Skating Team serves as NMU ambassadors.

 

Dues
$110-includes team jacket as well as performance wear throughout the season.
*United States Figure Skating Collegiate Membership is an additional $75 if you wish to compete*
*Every club member must purchase a Fall/Winter recreation pass*

Participants Must Supply
Skaters must provide their own skates, tights and competition dresses if you so choose.

Travel
We only travel to competitions and that will be an additional cost.

Practices
On Ice
Sunday: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Thursday: 11 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Off Ice
TBD - usually three days a week
