About Us

The Registrar's Office oversees management of student records, course registration and scheduling, degree evaluations, the commencement ceremony and transcripts.

The Registrar's Office staff strives to provide the best possible service through web technology, as well as personal contact. Student services for the Registrar's Office are provided by the Student Service Center, C.B. Hedgcock, Room 2201, 906-227-1221.

The registrar encourages every student to become familiar with NMU's current Academic Standards, Policies and Degree Requirements. Students with questions or concerns should make an appointment with their academic adviser to discuss academic issues.

The registrar also encourages students to familiarize themselves with the new academic calendar each year, which can be found at www.nmu.edu/calendars.
