IMPORTANT GRADUATION NOTICE
Are you participating in the December 2008 Commencement Ceremony?
Undergraduates are required to wear the green NMU cap and gown during commencement. Graduate students are required to wear the black Master’s cap, gown and hood. Please read below for ordering information.
The deadline to order your cap and gown is
Friday, October 17, 2008 to receive a $5.00 discount and to ensure that you will receive your cap and gown on time. After this deadline the regular prices will go into effect. Please see below for prices.
Bachelor/Associate degree, certificate, and diploma graduates must order a cap, gown and tassel.
· Cap and Gown and Tassel: $ 30.30
Masters/Educational specialist graduates must order a cap, gown, hood and tassel.
· Cap, Gown, Hood and Tassel: $ 59.40
Graduates who qualify for academic honors may purchase an honor cord when they pick-up their cap, gown and tassel.
· Honor Cord: $6.00
Additional tassels can be purchased for $5.00
When ordering, you will need to give the NMU Bookstore the following information:
· The degree you are receiving
· Your cap size
· Your height
· Your weight
·
For your best fit, go directly to the “Textbook Service Window” at the NMU Bookstore to be measured.
