Medical Transport Policy

Purpose

To define medical transports for on-campus medical injuries and illnesses, Emergency Room and Health Center requests and off-campus transports.

Applicability

All University employees, full time, part time, temporary, casual labor, students.

Policy

Medical transports will be provided by Public Safety for on-campus medical emergencies, that meet the criteria identified in the procedures, if the responding officer determines that the individual can be safely transported in the patrol vehicle
