Liquor License Approval Policy

Purpose

To establish a policy for Northern Michigan University to request and obtain 24 hours special license for the sale of beer and wine.

Applicability

All University employees, full time, part time, temporary, casual labor, students.

Policy

The Director of Public Safety has been given the responsibility to approve all applications for special license for the sale of beer and wine at any event on property owned or controlled by Northern Michigan University. The Michigan Liquor Control Commission will be notified when approval has been granted.
