Mid-November: Launch of presidential search website
Late November: Posting of institutional and presidential profile on website
December, January and February: Application period begins. Witt-Kieffer will recruit highly qualified candidates during this period.
February: Presidential search advisory committee begins review of applicants.
Mid-February, members of the Board of Trustees serving on presidential search advisory committee will meet with campus leaders to give an update on the search.
March 3, 2014: Deadline for applicants, although qualified candidates will be considered until a hire is finalized.
Week of March 10: Presidential search advisory committee selects finalists for first-round interviews.
Week of March 17: PSAC completes off-campus, in-person interviews with 10 semifinalists.
Late March/early April: Presidential search advisory committee selects finalists to bring to campus.
Week of March 31, April 7 and April 14: On-campus visits by finalists.
Each of the candidates will make a 5-7 minute presentation at a public forum held at 4 p.m. in the University Center on the day of their visit. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
