Search Concludes for NMU President

Northern Michigan University announced on Tuesday, April 22, the appointment of Dr. Fritz Erickson as its 15th president. Dr. Erickson is currently the provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at Ferris State University.

Erickson will succeed current president David Haynes, whose two-year appointment ends June 30.  He was chosen from among four finalists. The tentative goal is to have the new president in place by July 1.
