CPM Program Admissions Requirements

Requirements for graduate certificate in public management program are: 

• Complete the NMU College of Graduate Studies admission application
• Complete the department application
• Submit three letters of recommendation to the Political Science and Public Administration Department.. 

No Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required and no minimum grade point average must be met. 

Your materials will be reviewed by the university and a program faculty review committee.

Students who decide to proceed to the MPA after completing the graduate certificate will need to have earned a 3.0 GPA in the graduate certificate courses and then take the GRE.
